Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Denmarketing ("we", "us") is a UK dental marketing agency run by Carl Fox. We are the data controller for the personal data you provide through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and your rights under UK GDPR.
1. Who we are
Carl Fox, trading as Denmarketing. Contact: audit@denmarketing.co.uk · 07966 349 562.
2. What we collect and why
Enquiry and booking data
When you fill in a form or book a call we collect the details you provide: name, practice name, email address, phone number, and your practice size (number of patient records). We use this to respond to your enquiry, arrange your free pilot or strategy call, and send follow-up by email and WhatsApp.
Lawful basis: legitimate interest — you have initiated contact with a business for commercial purposes.
Partial and abandoned form data
Both forms on this site capture the details you have typed as you go — even if you do not click the submit button. This fires automatically a moment after you move to the next field, provided you have entered a valid email address or phone number. We do this so we can follow up if you get interrupted.
This is disclosed in plain language on each form ("By entering your details you agree we may follow up, even if you don't complete this form"). Lawful basis: legitimate interest, balanced against your right to privacy given the B2B context and the prior disclosure.
Marketing attribution
When you land on any page of this site, our tracking script reads the URL for UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, content, term), Google click IDs (gclid), and Meta click IDs (fbclid). It also records the landing page URL and the referring site. We store this in your browser's localStorage and send it to our CRM when you submit a form, so we can measure which marketing channels are working.
Lawful basis: legitimate interest — understanding marketing effectiveness is a core business need.
Analytics and advertising
We run the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram advertising pixel, ID 196719706479834) on every page of this site. It fires a PageView event on each page load, a Schedule event when a call is booked, and a Lead event when an enquiry form is submitted. This data goes to Meta and is used to measure the performance of our advertising and to reach relevant audiences.
We also send booking and enquiry events to Meta server-side via the Meta Conversions API. This is a server-to-server signal that helps match form completions to Meta ad clicks, even when browser tracking is limited.
Lawful basis: legitimate interest — advertising measurement and optimisation.
3. Cookies and browser storage
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp |
Meta Pixel | Browser fingerprint for Meta ad attribution | 90 days |
_fbc |
This site | Stores Meta click ID (fbclid) if you arrived via a Meta ad | 90 days |
dm_attr |
This site | localStorage — UTMs, click IDs, landing URL, referrer for attribution | Until browser storage cleared |
dm_lead_email |
This site | localStorage — recovers your email across sessions if you return to a form you started | Until browser storage cleared |
You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time through your browser settings. Blocking them will not affect your ability to browse the site but may prevent form partial capture from working across sessions.
4. Who we share your data with
We never sell your data. We use the following third-party processors, each bound by their own data processing agreements:
- GoHighLevel (US) — our CRM. Stores your contact details, sends follow-up by email and WhatsApp, and manages our sales pipeline. GHL Privacy Policy
- Meta Platforms (US) — advertising measurement via Pixel and Conversions API. Meta Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare (US) — hosts and delivers this website and our booking API. Processes request logs including IP addresses. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
- Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google's servers; Google may log font requests. Google Privacy Policy
International transfers
GoHighLevel, Meta, and Cloudflare are US-based. Data transferred to them is covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards under UK GDPR adequacy provisions.
5. How long we keep your data
- CRM contact records — kept for up to 3 years after your last interaction with us, or until you ask us to delete your data.
- Cookies — as listed in the table above.
- Browser localStorage — persists until you clear your browser storage.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict how we process your data
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
